Kennedy Space Center
The Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral in Florida is a special destination for space, science, and engineering enthusiasts. From discovering facts about space to experiencing the adventure of being an astronaut for NASA, this is the perfect place for everyone and a must visit.
Visitors learn about the difficulties the scientists and engineers faced in building the shuttles and bringing the brave men, who became the first ever humans to walk the moon, back home. The interactive exhibition takes everyone on a personal journey to the moon and shows what has and can be achieved by those who are brave enough to dream.
In 1958 president Dwight D. Eisenhower founded the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, better known as NASA. Four years later, in 1962, NASA established the Launch Operations Center, which was then renamed in 1963 by president Lyndon B. Johnson in honour of the late president John F. Kennedy.
