I am a freelance journalist with focus on the written word and photography.  Working with language and sharing my experiences has always been a passion of mine. Since photography has also been a huge part in my life while growing up, I decided to pursue it as a career. If we are being honest, a picture can often say more that a thousand words. Right?

Contrast is what makes us see things clearly. It is oppositional but harmonising at the same time.  It can be found in a black and white photograph, in written letters on a piece of paper, and in various debates. What is important, is the perspective from which we look at it. 

I love working with contrast because I think that every singe work of art holds so much more than what meets the eye. There is yet an infinite amount of meaning to be discovered and imagined by everyone individually. It is left to every individual to uncover the unique personality of each piece of work.  

Just like photography, travelling has had a large impact on my life. I grew up bilingual and experiencing many different cultures first hand. While hopping from country to country, I experienced how every destination has something very special to offer and a unique heritage to teach us. After all, our heritage and our experiences are what make us to the person we are.

Augustine of Hippo once said, "The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page". I intend to read the whole book, and I want to share my experience doing so on this website with everyone who is interested.
